The artist

Run by an artist,
not an agency.

Alexandra Strashko designs every evening herself and hosts most of them.

Strashko

Artist & Event Host · Founder
  • Professional artist and art educator
  • Art historian, diploma-certified
  • 10+ years designing and running art workshops
  • Teaches and hosts in English & Russian

She trained as an artist and as an art historian, and has spent the last ten years teaching — first classes, then the kind of evening people come to for the room as much as for the drawing. The art history is not decoration: every Art Wednesday starts from a real painter and a real idea, which is what separates a session from a paint-along.

She works with a small group of artists and models she has hosted with for years. Nothing is subcontracted out to whoever is free that night.

What Rising Muse does
01

Designed art sessions

Art Wednesday every week and Secret Salon once a month, open to anyone.

02

Private events

Birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor parties, anniversaries, friends’ nights.

03

Team & corporate events

Offsites, year-end evenings, client events and brand launches, from 10 to 100+ guests.

How we work

Why the evenings feel curated.

01

A theme, not a template

Every Wednesday is built around a specific painter or idea, with the art history behind it. That is the difference between a class and a paint-along.

02

Individual guidance

The artist moves between people rather than demonstrating at the front. Beginners and working artists sit at the same table and both get something out of it.

03

The room is half of it

Lighting, music, how the tables are laid. Nobody notices it when it is right, and everybody notices when it is not.

04

We run in public

Art Wednesday and Secret Salon are open to anyone. It keeps the format honest — you can come and see it before you hire it.

Come to a Wednesday before you book anything.
